About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our Night Shift Production Team at our wine bottling plant located in Onehunga, Auckland. As part of our fast-paced, high-volume environment using a variety of MHE including counterbalance, high reach forklift and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the plant.

As a Production Forklift Operator, you will play an essential part of our Night Shift operations. You’ll be responsible for moving dry goods and finished products within the warehouse and production areas, operating forklifts safely and effectively. The role will contribute to the smooth running of this busy department by maintaining positive relationships with other team members, through identifying ways to improve processes and by maintaining a clean and tidy workspace. 

Shift Time: 10:00pm to 6:30am, Sunday to Thursday 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Receipting, putting away
• Supporting efficient daily operations and contributing to team goals 
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace 

Our 20,000-pallet, satellite-racked warehouse requires a high level of competency in the following: 

• Operating high Reach Trucks with confidence and accuracy 
• Using semi-automated shuttle vehicles 
• Working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) 

Skills & experience 

· Full Forklift Licence essential. Experience with high reach is required. 

· Previous experience in a high-volume Warehouse/Distribution Centre environment advantageous.  

· High degree of physical fitness – including the ability to lift to 16kg repeatedly.  

· The right to work in New Zealand (Citizen or Resident) 

· Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.  

· A great attitude and willingness to succeed
